The foundation of this therapy

The foundation of this therapy is the meeting with one's inner child, that wounded part of ourselves that we need to recognise in order to make it an ally and, as an adult, to repair it, help it grow and take responsibility.

What is the Psychogestionnelle (PGL) method?

The Psychogestionnelle method is a brief therapy that links mind and body with an added spiritual dimension, making it, in my view, a complete therapy.

It is a therapy of co-creation with the person being supported, like a path strewn with pearls, a path towards oneself, enabling autonomy, inner peace, and being an attentive guardian to what arises. The PGL provides "tools" to manage our emotions more easily and more autonomously.

This path of repair through visualisation, verbalisation and above all listening to the body is a tool for living the present more fully and serenely.

Thanks to this technique, cellular programmes inscribed in the body can be transformed so that the power we gave to unresolved trauma and childhood wounds is no longer overwhelming or takes over. We come to repair and nourish the part that was wounded.

Trauma experienced by parents, especially the mother during pregnancy, can lastingly alter the expression of certain genes in the foetus via epigenetic mechanisms (methylation, regulation of stress enzymes and receptors). These changes do not alter DNA but can make the child more vulnerable to anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder.

Research shows that these epigenetic marks are often reversible. Through the psychocorporal approach, it is possible to reduce traumatic load, improve emotional regulation and favourably modulate these genetic expressions, thus reducing the risk of these vulnerabilities being "reprogrammed" in the next generation.

Healing protocols

Several healing protocols are used such as trauma repair (cleaning memories and recovering blocked life energies), transgenerational work (ceasing to give power to the bonds that imprison us, such as with our mother or father).

This protocol can also be adapted to: a person who poisons us "the persecutor" (following Karpman's triangle theory), birth (reliving one's ideal birth), grief (being at peace to live more fully), the embryo (re-imagining one's ideal intra-uterine period), the couple (freeing oneself from the family pattern that prevents creating one's own couple), childbirth (reliving the ideal childbirth of a child to free oneself and them), healing of the uterus (rape, abortion, miscarriages...).

There is also beautiful work with the lineage of ancestors to bring peace to one's family history and what may have impacted the descending lineage. Themes of abundance, money, anger and many others are also addressed.

Who is the psychogestionnelle method for?

Anyone who wants to feel better, gain emotional autonomy, feel at peace and free. From young adults to the elderly.

How does a session work?

After a preliminary interview the client lies down, fully clothed, comfortably on the massage table. The therapist sits beside them and, without touching the client, guides the session verbally, inviting them to be attentive to listening to their body, their perceptions, their sensations. The session lasts between 1 and 2 hours.

Who created this method?

The PsychoGestionneLle (PGL) method is a brief therapy created by Chantal Pisani, a leading specialist in sciences, psychosomatician and psychotherapist. Over thirty years of experience and research in the service of Being, meeting one's authenticity and the quest for inner peace. It is a method very similar to Natacha Calastramé's protocols.
